Mat Sweezey, founder of the Web3 Studio at Salesforce will lay out the core technologies and concepts underpinning Web3 and the evolution from Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 — providing knowledge and context to clearly see the opportunity ahead. 2:00 p.m. - The Business Case for Web3 Web3 has the potential for profound change, but what is the business case for Web3—why should marketers care—and what is the real opportunity today, and in the future? This session will explore Web3 from the CMO perspective, including brand activation, reaching new consumers, improving customer LTV, and the emergence of new revenue streams anchored by Web3. 2:40 p.m. - BREAK 2:50 p.m. - Crawl, Walk, Run - Where Does a CMO Start? (Small group workshops) How do CMOs get started with Web3? In this workshop session, attendees will roll up their sleeves and break into small groups to get a practical understanding of where to start.
